Lecture: Infoversum

Edwin Valentijn will give a lecture on the new infoversum, a new kind of theatre that's currently being build near the center of Groningen. Read more about the infoversum below, or check out their website.

The Infoversum combines art, culture, science, and business. You can expect full-dome movies, exhibitions, theatre, concerts, interactive shows, and workshops. The Infoversum is also ideal for school outings, conferences, and general events.

The dome shape of the building already reveals its function: films are shown in a 360-degree dome of 20 meters in diameter - the so-called 'full-dome experience'. The crisp digital 3D projection creates a special visual experience. The Infoversum will open in 2014.

The Infoversum is the new cultural highlight of the northern region. The venue has a capacity for 265 seated or 400 standing visitors. It also has an exhibition area, catering facilities, and a roof terrace with a view of the city.
