Societies

Our Dispuut was created out of love for the Dutch student life. We enjoy the traditions our association has, and the ones around the Groningen student life. Think of a cantus, a beer relay, a centurion borrel, and all of the other mores around an association.

We're looking for new members that enjoy these traditions as much as we do and that want to help us organise as many of these activities, both inside the Dispuut and for the entire association.

The Bartenders Guild is responsible for supporting Cover's events where there is a bar. Having uninitiated members tap has proven to be disastrous, often yielding more foam than beer. You can often identify bartenders by their sleek black vests and penchant for our favorite drink, delicious, cold, beautiful, enticing, enthralling, intoxitaing drink: bier.

The Ski Club Club Society was formed by previous and current ExCee members to organize ski trips and skiing-related activities. Unlike the ExCee, which has organized ski trips instead of their normal ones in the past, the Ski Club Club Society is fully focused on skiing.

This Society was created for the purpose of collective melancholy, nostalgia and making fun of board/kandis.

Beta is the climbing society of Cover. We aim to organise weekly meetups to practice our bouldering, toprope, and other climbing activities. We will also organise some mini competitions to encourage friendly engagement and skillbuilding.

We make the GAs more exciting by adding our creative liberties (crochet, knit, origami, and various others). The activities and presentations of our works will be via motion and shown during GAs.
