Knock knock! Build your own ARP!

Event information

Ever wanted to build a device that can actually ping something on a real network? In this workshop, we'll get our RP2040 Zero boards chatting over Ethernet using the ENC28J60 module - and build just enough networking magic to send ARP requests, get replies, and then ping each other.
Whether you're taking Computer Networks or just love tinkering with hardware, this is your chance to get hands-on with how devices actually talk to each other.
What you should bring:
Your laptop! We do have some USB-C cables, but just in case, if you're on a Mac, please bring your USB-A adapter.
What you'll leave with:
A better understanding of how networks operate under the hood, and probably some newfound respect for the humble Ethernet frame.
Cost: Only 5€ and includes all the hardware you'll use and keep!
