Learn about the history of the RUG from 1614 to today by visiting the university museum with us! The university museum has been educating Stadjers and students about the history and significance of the RUG within and without Groningen. For example, did you know that the academy building burned down in 1906 and was reopened in the lustrum year of 1909 in the presence of Queen Mother Emma and HRH Prince Hendrik?
