Build your very own custom game console powered by the RP2040 microcontroller!

In this three-hour workshop, you'll assemble and program a fully functional handheld game console, perfect for electronics and game development enjoyers, all the while dealing with C programming.

What You'll Get:

note: these might change in the future, we have not yet finalized the design

  • A 3D-printed case

  • Custom PCB with an RP2040 MCU

  • Two hot-swappable mechanical buttons

  • A joystick

  • MicroSD card slot for loading your games

  • A small screen

  • What You'll Do:

  • Assemble your console from (kinda) scratch

  • Write the software to load a game directly from an SD card

  • Develop a game -- we'll walk you through building Snake, but feel free to unleash your inner game designer!

  • Share your games with one another!

  • What to Bring:

Bring along your laptop! All other materials are included in the €15 workshop fee.
