Dear first-year students of Artificial Intelligence, Computing Science and Computational Cognitive Science,
We are happy to welcome you to the University of Groningen and to the study association Cover. In order to make your first week of university as fun and memorable as possible, the IntroCee (Introduction Committee of Cover) organises an introduction week.
One of the highlights is the 🌭 Introduction Barbecue!. This is a great opportunity to meet your mentor group, hang out with other first-years, and enjoy some delicious food in a relaxed setting for only €7.
Our introductory activities are:
🗺️ Campus Tour: Monday, August 31, 2025 (done with your mentor group during the first meeting)
🧠 Pub Quiz: Tuesday, September 1, 2025 (Only (Pre-)Master's students)
🌭 Introduction Barbecue: Wednesday, September 2, 2025, 17:00 (in front of Bernoulliborg)
🎉 Welcome (Back) Party: Thursday, September 3, 2025, 21:00 (location Unitas S.G.)
🏖️ INTRODUCTION WEEKEND: September 4 - 6, 2026 (Boerhaarshoeve, Grolloo, transport included)
