FMF symposium "Mainstream Science: Hypes and Hopes"

The title of the FMF-symposium on October 14th is 'Mainstream Science: Hypes and Hopes'. The main theme is the exploration of hypes in science and the question what mainstream science really is.
The symposium is aimed to give an overview of the subject by looking at different aspects. The points of view we will explore include:
