About Cover

Cover is the study association for Artificial Intelligence, Computing Science and Computational Cognitive Science at the University of Groningen. The association has over 1000 members from the bachelor's and master's of our studies, as well as other related studies. Through our committees and Board, we organise 3 types of events: social, educational, and career-related.

The purpose of our association is to contribute to the academic broadening of the members and stimulating the contact among students and between students and academic staff.

The Studies

Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a growing industry. The AI degree at the RUG is an international degree that covers several fields including Maths, Logic, Philosophy, and Cognitive Psychology.

Computing Science

Computing Science (CS) is a great way to study the development of computer systems. Although learning programming languages is a large part, the degree goes beyond that to include the basic principles of mathematics.

Computational Cognitive Science

Computational Cognitive Science (CCS) is a Masters degree programme that focuses on the applications of Cognitive Engineering. The foundations of the degree can be condensed to two questions: How does human cognition work? and, how can we apply this knowledge?
