Programming for Dummies (Thursday)
IMPORTANT: There are two identical Programming for Dummies Workshops. If you can't make this one, there is also one on Wednesday! Also, we're not teaching you C, that's what Imperative Programming is for ;)
Programming for Dummies is here to help you think programmatically! In this lecture-workshop hybrid, we will discuss how programs are like Lego houses, how daily life is full of complex algorithms, and how to cut your tomatoes recursively. All this and more to help those students who have little or no experience with programming to get into the right mind frame.
PS. Note that we will only look at pseudocode - that is, no programming language specifics will be discussed.
